Temporary work — is it right for me?
Temporary employment or temp work – what exactly is it?
As a temporary employee, you are permanently employed by us but work at our client companies. Assignments for our clients are always temporary—ranging from just one day to several months. The working lives of our employees are usually quite varied – many benefit from the fact that they can continually gain new experience and qualifications in their various assignments.
Temporary work is not “second-class” work!
The legislator ensures that this form of employment is not “second-class” work by imposing very strict requirements. The current Temporary Employment Act (AÜG) sets out precise rules—including on topics such as maximum assignment duration and pay.
You can find information on the current collective agreements here.

Why? We offer you many opportunities to shape your working life according to your ideas. Temporary work is not only a good opportunity for those re-entering the job market—it also offers more variety and flexibility than a traditional job. It is also much more crisis-proof. And, of course, it is by no means a dead end: many of our employees are taken on by our customers from temporary employment contracts into permanent employment contracts.
